PitchPerfect. The Barden Bellas are a collegiate, all-girls a cappella singing group thriving on female pop songs and their perfect looks. Few viewers came out of Pitch Perfect 2 thinking, “this franchise will run and run”. Second time around, the premise of competitive a capella already seemed to have exhausted its possibilities.
